Cherwell Laboratories was founded in 1971 by Lawrence Whittard as a veterinary diagnostic laboratory and over the years the business has evolved to where it is today - specialists in environmental monitoring and process validation for healthcare, pharmaceutical and industrial applications. Cherwell Laboratories is a specialist manufacturer of prepared microbiological media and is also the UK distributor for SAS viable air samplers,  Raven Laboratories/Apex Laboratories biological indicators and DataTrace wireless datalogging systems.

These values have helped us achieve ISO9001:2008 accreditation for 'the manufacture and supply of microbiological media and also the supply, service and calibration of SAS air samplers'.
