Cherwell celebrate landmark!
Cherwell
Laboratories, the UK based manufacturer of the Redipor range
of prepared media, celebrated achieving £2 million
turnover for the first time at the end of February 2007.
At a general staff meeting, Lawrence Whittard, Chairman
(on the left), spoke of the great progress the company had
made in recent years. A major investment in the business
and relocation has laid solid foundations for the future.
In fact, growth at the Oxfordshire based company has accelerated
in recent years and the next milestone, £3 million
turn over, is very much the goal!
UHB Medicines, one
of Cherwell’s long standing customers, are actually
credited with the order that pushed sales over £2
million for the first time. The Chairman went on to
thank all the staff who have contributed so much to the
success of the business.
The company has been trading for almost 35 years and supplies
the pharmaceutical industry with a comprehensive range of
prepared microbiological media and environmental monitoring
equipment. The Redipor range has been recognised as a high
quality product for over 20 years and the company continues
to strive for excellence in customer support by being flexible,
knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of its customers.
