Greater functionality for an improved experience
We have completely reworked and refreshed our website to provide you with enhanced application and product information and to make it as easy as possible to find out about our prepared media and environmental monitoring products. Our new look website at www.cherwell-labs.co.uk gives you improved navigation options, content and functionality.
DataTrace Wireless Temperature Datalogging
Traditional autoclave validation involves the complicated and time consuming task of introducing many thermocouple wires into an autoclave chamber.
Scientists at Cherwell have now verified a rapid autoclave validation application using DataTrace® self-contained, wireless, high precision, data loggers. Since no wiring is required, DataTrace probes can be readily used to measure temperature, humidity and pressure directly inside an autoclave for validation with full 21CFR11 compliance and minimal production downtime.
SAS Microbial Monitoring Equipment At BPL
Following the previous successful installation of bespoke remote SAS microbial air samplers from Cherwell, UK-based manufacturer of aseptically filled blood plasma products and part of NHSBT, Bio Products Laboratory (BPL) has installed additional SAS samplers on a second plasma product aseptic filling line.
Cherwell has now custom built and installed to date eight fixed point air samplers with control units situated externally to the Grade A area, thereby enabling remote control of the sampling of both of BPL’s plasma product filling lines and consequently eliminating all direct human contact.
We strive to always deliver the best possible service that we can, therefore your feedback is vital for us. We are currently undertaking a customer satisfaction survey and we’d really value your views.
Should I store my plates in the fridge?
No need. The storage conditions for the majority of our prepared media is Ambient not exceeding 25ºC, with the exception being a couple of very specialist products. We have never specified storage in a fridge for our general media as this causes excessive condensation and can result in a very wet agar surface, potentially making the product impossible to use.
