The
SAS range has been at the forefront of portable microbial samplers for over 30 years. Originally developed in Milan, Italy, the units are now sold world wide. The standard units use readily available Contact (RODAC) plates thereby avoiding costly, specialist consumables. An alternative Petri dish version is now also available.
The current product range includes 4 portable units; SAS Super 100, SAS Super 180, Duo 360 and the new SAS ISO. The SAS Super units are primarily aimed at the clean room user for environmental monitoring. The SAS Super 180 offers a high sampling rate of 180 litres per minute and completes a cubic metre in under 6 minutes.
The SAS Duo 360 has two sampling heads, each sampling 180 litres per minute. This allows a bacterial or total viable count (TVC) plate and fungal plate to be run simultaneously. The benefit is significantly reduced monitoring time.
The new SAS ISO features a touch screen control panel, battery status indicator, flow sensor and calibration reminder. The SAS ISO is available as either a 100 or 180 litres per minute version.
The SAS Super Isolator is a specific development of the hand held units aimed at Isolator cabinet monitoring. The discrete stainless steel sampling head is located permanently inside the cabinet, thereby reducing transfer into the critical area. We are also able to offer specialist installation solutions to allow the system to fitted into grade A filling areas.
