Prepared Microbiological Media

Cherwell Laboratories specialise in the manufacture of Redipor, our own range of prepared microbiological media. The Redipor brand name is recognised as providing quality and reliability within the pharmaceutical sector, the primary market for our comprehensive range of petri dishes, contact plates, irradiated media, broth bags, ampoules, injection vials and bottles.

The Redipor prepared media range is suitable for a variety of applications including environmental monitoring, sterility testing of products, operator validation and process validation.

Air Samplers for Environmental Monitoring

Within our environmental monitoring range of products, we offer the SAS range of microbial air samplers.  The range includes hand-held air samplers such as the high speed SAS Super 180 and specialist products for isolator monitoring. Our microbial monitoring equipment range includes a variety of units designed for specific environmental monitoring applications including clean room monitoring, isolator monitoring, filling line monitoring and compressed air monitoring.

Wireless Data Loggers

A recent addition to the product range is the DataTrace range of wireless data loggers for temperature, pressure and relative humidity. The product range includes real time radio frequency data loggers, as well as miniature data loggers for process validation. Typical applications for DataTrace data loggers include autoclave validation and process monitoring. 

Biological Indicators

As the UK distributor for the Raven Laboratories and Apex Laboratories we supply a range of biological indicators used for the validation of sterilisation processes. The comprehensive range includes spore strips, spore suspensions, self contained biological indicators, industrial use biological indicators and chemical indicators.

Biological indicators are available populated by a range of spores such as Geobacillus stearothermophilus, Bacillus atrophaeus and Bacillus pumilus and for validating a variety of sterilisation applications including steam, dry heat, hydrogen peroxide vapour (H₂O₂), Ethelyne Oxide (EO), formaldehyde, Chlorine Dioxide (ClO₂) and gamma irradiation.
