Self contained biological indicators eliminate the need for aseptic transfers and are perfect for facilities without microlabs or laminar flow hoods.

ProSpore

ProSpore ampoules are an ideal biological indicator for use in validating the sterilisation of volumes of liquid that take a longer time to reach sterilising conditions and are also suitable for non-liquid loads. They are easy to use and are suitable for use in both healthcare and industrial steam sterilisation.

ProSpore ampoules are available in 4ml or 1ml each containing a population of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores.

ProSpore2

Prospore2 biological indicators are available for use in either steam or ethylene oxide sterilisation and are suitable for use in healthcare and industrial use. 

Each ProSpore2 unit is made up of a plastic container with cap, a crushable glass ampoule with recovery media, and a paper disc inoculated with Bacillus atrophaeus (ethylene oxide sterilisation) or Geobacillus stearothermophilus (steam sterilisation) spores.

ProSpore DH

ProSpore DH maintains its integrity in extreme dry heat environments and is therefore an ideal biological indicator for monitoring depyrogenation and other high temperature dry heat manufacturing processes.

ProSpore DH gives you the ability to monitor longer, higher temperature dry heat sterilisation cycles by offering a higher D-value than a traditional spore strip while providing the convenience of a hermetically sealed ampoule for ease of transport.

ProTest

ProTest is a self-contained biological indicator for use in either steam sterilisation or ethylene oxide sterilisation and is suitable for healthcare and industrial use.

Each ProTest unit is made up of a plastic container with cap, a crushable glass ampoule with recovery media, and a paper strip inoculated with Bacillus atrophaeus (Ethylene Oxide) or Geobacillus stearothermophilus (steam) spores.

ProTest H₂O₂

ProTest H₂O₂ is a self-contained biological indicator designed specifically for use in the STERRAD^® Sterilisation System (Industrial Use Only).

Each ProTest H₂O₂ unit is made up of a plastic container with cap, a crushable glass ampoule with recovery media and a borosilicate disc inoculated with Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores.

ProAMP

ProAMP is a miniature (26.5mm x 6.5mm) self-contained biological indicator ideal for validating the sterilisation of liquid loads and also suitable for loads containing dry goods. ProAMP is available for industrial steam sterilisation at 118-135°c or for low temperature (110-121°c) industrial steam sterilisation.
