2021 FESTIVE AGAR ART COMPETITION SUBMISSIONS

To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we held a festive themed agar art competition, which has now closed.

Many thanks and congratulations to our festive agar artists. The standard of the entries was again very high, which made judging a welcome challenge. We had some beautiful snowflakes and Christmas scenes all using TSA based agar plates.

Our winner is Caitlin L, we were really impressed with the intricate artwork and use of more than one organism to create some colour. Congratulations to Caitlin and well done everyone for creating some Christmas cheer from an agar plate and some bugs!

For every person that submitted an entry, we’ll plant a tree, with eforests.  Entrants will receive a certificate, with a unique reference number, that allows them to see the species and location of the tree planted on their behalf.
