A farmer

Which part of your job do you enjoy the most?

Witnessing improvement in people, products or processes which on reflection had to a greater or lesser extent had my influence.

What led you to this career?

I've always been interested in making things, so have always worked in manufacturing companies - from automotive to medical devices and pharmaceutical/chemical product manufacture.

What have you seen recently that made you smile?

My newborn grandson.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Police detective.

Which four famous people would you invite to dinner?

David Attenborough, Stephen Fry, Mohammad Ali and Joanna Lumley.

What energises you at work?

Having a great team to work with.

Early bird.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A vet.

Food and green tea.

Woken up abruptly by children and coffee.

My 4 year old picking his nose while asleep.

What do you think is the most important part of your job?

Customer satisfaction.

What energises you at work?

My working partners :-) (p.s. she really doesn't like the word colleague).

Red - it's bright and cheery.

What advice would you give for a happy life?

Eat, drink and be merry and choose the right friends.

Making sure all customers are happy!

An Endless supply of tea and biscuits.

Definitely not salad!

Neither, I love my sleep!

UPS notification of a delivery being made.

Which part of your job do you enjoy the most?

Talking to customers, finding out about what they need and trying to help them. I find the problem solving aspect is rewarding.

What do you like most about working for Cherwell Laboratories?

The relaxed family atmosphere - the friendly way of working.

What type of music do you listen to?

Rock and metal - various groups, too many to mention.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A policeman - because I enjoyed watching The Bill.

Which four famous people would you invite to dinner?

Stephen Fry, David Attenborough, Henry Blofeld (from Test Match Special) and Shaffi (the love of Tom's life😍).

Trying to keep the customers happy.

How do you spend your down time outside of work?

Enjoying sport - mainly golf.

Listening to music.

The people! They're such a great team to work with.

Hmmm, tough one, probably either a roast dinner with ALL the trimmings or a spicy curry 😋

Quality time with the family; gardening; baking; knitting; reading or running (I completed Couch to 5K at the end of last year).
