Events Schedule 2019

At Cherwell, we always like to attend as many events as possible, to keep up with industry trends and regulatory changes. Events also provide us with the ideal opportunity to meet with customers. It is always beneficial to talk face to face with people to discuss how we can help and support them; advising them on the most suitable solution we can provide them with for their specific requirements.

This year, so far, we are scheduled to attend the following events:

PHSS Challenges in Sterile Product Manufacture with GMP Compliance

The annual PHSS challenges in sterile product manufacturing conference comes at a time when the Pharma industry is under challenge with new GMP regulations (revision of Annex 1), new product types require processing with new technologies that require application of Quality Risk Management to meet GMP compliance and requirements of patient safety.

This conference provides a perspective from regulators (MHRA), Global GMP auditors, advanced therapy manufacturers, technology manufacturers and academics on current challenges.

PDA Ireland Chapter: Practical Implementation of QRM - Are We Getting Value?

The agenda for this conference includes exploring the integration of QRM into the PQS and demonstrating effectiveness to achieve operational advantage and regulatory relief. There will be panel discussions and workshops at the event.

Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing of Medicines (APDM)

8th – 10th July 2019 – Leeds Trinity University

This three-day course covers the principles and practice of asepsis. It provides an update on knowledge or standards, practices and quality assurance arrangements relating to the aseptic preparation and dispensing of medicines. Organised by the NHS, Technical Specialists Education and Training (TSET) Group and the University of Leeds, this course is designed for pharmacy staff who are engaged in the aseptic processing of medicines.

PHSS Annual Conference in association with UCL Q3P

10th & 11th September 2019 - Hilton Kensington, London

The PHSS conference on Challenges in Biological & Advanced Medicinal Therapeutic product (ATMP) manufacturing following GMP will include sessions on:
• Regulatory and GMP compliance
• Biological product and ATMP Processing
• Environmental monitoring
