New Business Development Manager, Tom Pickford, joins AnalytiChem UK team to enhance support for customers in the Midlands
Bicester, UK, 20th October 2025: AnalytiChem UK (formerly Cherwell), cleanroom microbiology solutions expert, announces the appointment of Tom Pickford as Business Development Manager for the Midlands. This is a new role created within the recently renamed company to enhance collaboration and support for both new and existing customers across this central region of the UK.
Through Tom’s appointment, AnalytiChem UK (the new name for Cherwell) continues the company’s longstanding customer-centric approach, ensuring its customers’ individual environmental monitoring and validation requirements are fully understood and met. Within his new role, Tom will work closely with customers to deliver the right solutions to help them achieve compliance and confidence in their controlled environments and processes.
Enabling him to work in partnership with and comprehend his customers’ specific needs, Tom holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham and has extensive experience working with scientific and manufacturing companies. He previously worked as a Business Development Manager helping cleanroom teams source niche materials used in the R&D and manufacture of sensors, photovoltaics and microelectronics; and also, as a Senior Recruitment Consultant – liaising with quality and R&D teams in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
